Caroline Laporte | McKinney Texas | Green Art Center | Mckinney Writer and Author | Energy Efficient Building | Self-directed Learning

We define Green in three ways:

  • In the energy-efficient building itself, with state and/or national certification. We believe that for creativity and harmony to happen, we need daylight, clean air to breathe and stay as environmental conscious as much as we can.

  • In the outdoor space, where students can enjoy outdoor walks, sit down on a porch for a snack before catching up the next class, or simply drawing a bird in a tree.

  • In restoring the deep relationship with Nature, with a vegetable garden, fruit trees, play time in the tree house, and an Outdoor Stage for our on-going performances.

Value Proposition THE GREEN ART CENTER

The Green Art Center's goal is to offer a wide spectrum of artistic activities that focus on body movement, creativity and Nature. We are the first "Green Art Center" in the United States. We are also the true Conservatoire the way they exist across France, Italy and Russia.

Our class curriculum will be arranged by department in a less-structured, self-directed learning approach.
